Paxi (Paxos or) is a small quiet island with the Grape belongs to the Ionian Islands with a population of 2,000 residents. The town of Gaios is the capital of the island.

 Paxos remain unaltered by the tourism influence with many traditional villages, wonderful beaches, marinas, restaurants, etc. The most populart part is Gaius village with the folklore museum. Also see the beaches Voutoumi and Vrika.

Paxos can enjoy the fun, the trip to Antiparos, several beaches, caves and water sports, marine park, diving, cruises, tours, horse riding etc.

The average temperature in Paxos range from 11 degrees Celsius (52F) in January to 26 degrees (80F) during July and August. Tourism in Paxos lasts from May to October with peak months in July and August.

Paxos can be reached by plane to Corfu airport and then by boat or Athens Airport and then drive to Igoumenitsa and then ferry to Paxos or via Brindisi in Italy.
