Outside of town we recommend to visit the monastery and Paleokastritsas coast, the picturesque seaside village of Kassiopi with the beach, the mountain Pantokrator with its stunning views of the island,  the former palace Achillion Palace with its beautiful architecture and gardens , beaches Arillas, Sidari, Pelekas, Kalamaki, Hermione, green island Mathraki and the medieval village of Perithia.

The average temperature in Corfu range from 10 degrees Celsius (50F) in January to 26 degrees (80F) during July and August. Tourism in Corfu runs mainly from May to October with peak months in July and August.

In Corfu you can arrive by plane at the airport of Corfu or Athens Airport and then ferry from Igoumenitsa, Patras and even from Italy by ferry port of Bari, Ancona, and other Italian cities.
